Plagiarism is defined as the use of someone else's work or ideas without proper attribution. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using someone else's ideas or arguments without acknowledging the source.
  • Submitting the same work to multiple publications.

Consequences of Plagiarism

If a submission is found to contain plagiarism, the following consequences may apply:

  • Rejection of the submission: The submission will be rejected and returned to the author.
  • Publication ban: The author may be banned from submitting to Sulaikh Journal for a specified period.
  • Notification of the author's institution: In cases of serious plagiarism, Sulaikh Journal may notify the author's institution or employer.
  • Legal action: In extreme cases, Sulaikh Journal may take legal action against the author.

Preventing Plagiarism

To avoid plagiarism, authors should:

  • Cite all sources properly using a recognized citation style (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago).
  • Paraphrase ideas in your own words and cite the original source.
  • Use quotation marks to indicate direct quotes.

Sulaikh Journal uses plagiarism detection software to check submitted content for originality. If a submission is flagged for potential plagiarism, it will be reviewed by our editorial team for further investigation.
